Number One in Google
Written by Vitaly on February 5th, 2009HolidayHomeAdvertising.co.uk is number one in Google.co.uk for “holiday home advertising” search phrase. Among usual affecting things (such as unique highly relevant content and backlinks) the proper domain name showed to be the deciding factor.

Hi and thanks for your comment Philip! Since you posted the link to your personal property website, I hope you don’t mind if I make a few notes on it.
Homepage:
-There is no reason why it should not fit 1024px width, I’d limit the width so there is no ugly horizontal scroll bar on 1024×768 screens (yes there are still many
-Front page image does not sell your holiday home. It’s just not there. EVERY home can be photographed so it appears attractive. Try photographing it from different angles and with sun being behind you.
All pages:
-Every time user wants to go to the Homepage they press the logo at the top. But yours isn’t fully clickable - only the small picture is - what about the large website name in blue? It should link to the Homepage as well.
